Eee! My year 11 exams are over!

I always find it tricky to keep up with some people's OC characters. Even if they have reference sheets it's hard to tell which characters are still being used and which are old and which are the main characters etc. So I decided to make a page to show all of my characters so that people can see them clearly, and so that I can keep track of them! I have way too many

Main Characters

Fursona: Asali

Well, first is my beautiful fursona Asali. She is displayed in my ID and my icon and is probably my main character. I don't draw her nearly enough though!

Some people base the way that their fursona looks on themselves, Asali looks nothing like me! Unfortunately I am not tanned, blonde or have green eyes.

Asali was the first character that I created on DA and she's had a couple of makeovers since. Also her name was originally Forest, then Joy which then became Harmony then I decided that I wanted something more original and called her Asali, although I still stuff up and call her Harmony sometimes

Li doesn't have much of a story yet. She is half Winged and half Legendary, two breeds that I have created. Her best freidns are Cobra and ~Starstallion's Rune. She has a crush (*cough* Is obsessed *cough*) with two stallions, Bluejay and Darius, neither of which know that she exists.

Li's personality is a little like mine, she is very sweet and naive and whenever she tries to rebel she completely fails.

Cobra was my second character on DA, my brother actually created his design. He suggested that I make a black horse with a fire mane and tail, red snake markings and blue eyes. I came up with the actual design and decided to make his mane and tail fire coloured rather than actual fire. I love Cobra, and definitely need to do more art with him in it!

He doesn't have much of a story either, It will have to be my new years resolution to do more of Asali and Cobra's story next year! Cobra's best friends are Asali and ~Starstallion's Flint. He is an Eknis, a breed that I have created but not finished the breed sheet for yet

Witch



I created Witch for 's foal game. She doesn't have a huge story, it's more the foal that was born around that time that has the story. I love her design, although it doesn't really fit in with the breeds that I created to give my fantasy horses more structure She is part Legendary, and looking at her design now I realize that she could also be part Eknis, which I was secretly planning all along...

Witch is a very vain mare who was born in the largest known Legendary herd. She never really fit in there though, having strange colours and no powers. When she got pregnant with a normal horse it was the last straw and she was kicked out of the herd. She stayed with *Winged-Horse's Dorado, the sire of her foal for a while, however after a while she found out that she was having twins from one of her old Legendary friends. She started to get a strange, foreboding feeling about her foals, the closer she got to having the foals the worse it became. She ran away from Dorado, beginning to fear his safety around her. When the foals were born, sure enough, one of them was still born. Witch took the filly and found a new herd made up of a mix of horses (the herd that Asali and Cobra belong to)


Tomahawk



Hawk is a fairly new character that I adopted from this year (2009)<--For my future reference Even though I didn't design him I love him as much as the characters that I did design I'm not great at designing normal horse characters so I had been looking around for one to adopt for a while. As soon as I saw Tomahawk I had a great personality for him, and easily came up with a story for him

Tomahawk was born in a Native American tribe and grew up learning about the land and the creatures. He was handled by humans from almost the moment that he was born so never feared them. One day there was an accident where a wild horse got loose and Hawk got cut across the face. In the chayos Hawk ran away in fear and got lost in the forest. A sweet, wild mare who had just lost her own foal found him and took him in, and Hawk forgot all about his heritage.

Orion



Orion is also new, I don't mean to sound dramatic, but finding him was like destiny (okay, a little dramatic). I had put in my application for Tomahawk and was trying to think of designs for his adoptive parents, I knew exactly what I wanted his mother to look like but was having trouble with his father. I was thinking of having a dapple grey stallion called Sterling, but it didn't seem right. Then made some adoptables and he was perfect for what I had in mind and looked amazing with Nolie. I loved his design so much that it prompted me to come up with a better character than the cold, cruel stallion that I had planned. Then, somehow I managed to get him .

Orion was born in a herd with a very domineering, violent stallion as the leader. Orion grew up in constant fear of the stallion finding out that he was not the stallion's foal. He grew up to be a brilliant fighter due to watching so many fights and got himself a herd. He didn't know how to act around other horses though, so seemed cold and distant to the others. He met Nolie who managed to see past the strong, cold front that he used. Nolie's first foal died which left her devestated until she found a lost foal. Orion told her to send the foal back to the Native American camp where he obviously came from, due to the feathers in his tail, but Nolie begged him to let her keep the foal and he reluctantly agreed.

Nolie



Nolie means a lot to me, she is a mix of April, one of my favourite horses at the place where I take riding lessons, and Molly, a beautiful horse that my friend used to own. I created her to be Tomahawk's adoptive mother and she went perfectly as Orion's lead mare. I subconsiously got her name from digimon which I used to love when I was younger. My favourite character in the second season I think, was called Yoli (Star, I finally figured out where we knew it from! )

Nolie's dam was a loner, so Nolie never had much horse contact. When she was only a filly her dam was claimed by a stallion and Nolie had to hide and run to avoid being killed. She had to learn to take care of herself from then and held a strong distrust for most stallions. Occasionally she would stay with herds for a while, but never let any stallions claim her, fighting them herself if necessary. She was a fairly tall horse at 16.1hh and despite her slim build she was strong. Seeing all of the mares and foals in herds Nolie grew compassionate for other horses and wondered why they would choose to live in a herd. One day she met Orion and was instantly charmed by the grumpy, stubborn stallion. She found out how kind he was with his herd, despite his distant personality and decided to join him. Her first foal with Orion died soon after birth and Nolie was heartbroken. Soon after though, she found a lost foal. She loved him immidiately, and never told anybody, but always felt as though he had been sent to her. She convinced Orion to let her keep the foal and, despite her promise to him, never intended to tell Tomahawk that she wasn't his real dam.


Minor Characters

Firestarter



I've never actually drawn Firestarter before, but I have coloured lineart of him and I love his colours. One day I will draw him! I don't really have a story for him, but he is so gorgeous that I probably will one day.


Ulia



Ulia is Firestarter's mate, I like her design too, but I haven't really done much with her. Her mane and tail changes colour in the light like a diamond.


Sitara



Sitara is only in minor characters because i've done almost nothing with her. I do have a lot planned for her. She is Witch's foal, so her twin brother died before they were born. I've changed the story a little since doing that picture, Sita has the ability to see and talk to dead horses from her Legenbdary blood. I'm still refining the story, so I don't have much for it yet.


Darius



I created him with Starstallion so we share ownership, although neither of us has done much with him

Darius tried to save a foal from a fire but failed and got badly burnt, and left the herd that he loved in shame. He's our angsty character I've just realized, a lot of my characters have left/been kicked out of their herds!

Bluejay



Purely designed to be Asali's eye candy He doesn't have much of a story, he competes for mares attention with Cobra, however has yet to notice Li.


Estilllia



My character from Neopets that I still draw sometimes. I've had her for ages so I'm pretty attached, but she has no story She's mostly for when I feel like ocean themed stuff.


Misterie, Aslesa and Regal





The characters from a roleplay that and I did ages ago. I love the characters and the story line, but the comic and story that I was planning to write for them sort of failed. After a while I lost the drive for doing it, and now I want to concentrate more on my other characters storylines. I did get the Legendary breed from it though which is good
